Three reasons why I love my Manta Sleep Mask

I find most sleep masks annoying, hot, uncomfortable on my eyes, and I don’t love the feeling of a restrictive band around my head when I’m going to sleep.

You too?

Then you’ll want to hear what I have to say below about my absolute favourite sleep mask.

I wasted a lot of time and money buying sleep masks that didn’t work for me, and I don’t want that to happen to you!

So I’m going to end your sleep mask search today by recommending the one I use myself: The Manta Sleep Mask.* It’s the only sleep mask I recommend to my clients.

I rarely recommend sleep products here (actually, I think this is the first one!). That’s because my goal is to help you learn to sleep using what you already have – your brain and your nervous system. And I never recommend anything that I don’t use myself, or find extremely helpful.

But this product is so different and so helpful that I want to share it with you.

Three things I love about this sleep mask:

  1. It never presses against my eyes. I find typical sleep masks supremely uncomfortable because they don’t allow my eyes to move freely, so this is my top reason for loving the Manta Sleep Mask. The eye cups (photo below) create a seal around my eye socket preventing light leaks while allowing my eyes to move freely as if I’m not wearing a mask at all. This design is genius and I don’t know what took the sleep mask world so long to figure this out!
  2. The adjustable headband is plenty big enough for my big head (seriously – I wear men’s hats people!) and it’s easy to find a happy medium between all night comfort and enough tension to keep the mask in place while I need it. Also, as a side sleeper I find most masks slip out of place when I put the side of my face on my pillow. But my Manta Sleep mask stays put. And finally,
  3. The Manta Sleep mask blocks ALL the light so I can sleep even if my husband’s phone is casting blue light all over our room. And even if environmental or city light is keeping me awake.

Manta Sleep Masks come with optional add-on features

If you get migraines like I do, you’ll appreciate this: the eye cups in the Manta Sleep mask are fixed to the mask with velcro.

Which is amazing news because it means I can swap them out for their cooling eye cups that give me so much relief when I can’t sleep because of head/face pain.

Sometimes I use them in the morning to get rid of that sleepy, puffy feeling faster.

They’re especially great for those of you who struggle with seasonal allergies.

You can see from the photo below that the cooling eye cups give your eyes a little less space for movement than the regular sleep eye cups, but I usually use them in the daytime, not when I’m going to sleep so I haven’t found that to be a problem.

They also make warming eye cups that heat up in the microwave if that’s your preference.

Can you tell I’m in love with this mask?

I’ve tried a lot of sleep products over the years so I can bring you an educated opinion on them. And this mask is tied with my bamboo PJ’s and silk pillowcases for my absolute favourite sleep product. And it’s definitely the only sleep mask I use/recommend.

It’s just that good.

Let me know if you have any questions. I promise to always give you my honest opinion as a customer and sleep coach!
